The Tesla Sequence: Why 3, 6, and 9 Are More Than Just Numbers

What Vortex Math, Nested Spheres, and Toroidal Flow Teach Us About Aligning With Universal Design

The numbers 3, 6, and 9 are often considered special in metaphysical and esoteric traditions due to their mathematical properties and symbolic associations. I had heard this was popularized by Nikola Tesla, so I thought I’d dig deeper and learn more about these numbers.

What surprised me most was learning that the numbers 3, 6, and 9 have everything to do with spirals. I began to synthesize this new knowledge with Tesla’s quote:

“If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, you would have the key to the universe.”

The combination of 3, 6, 9, and spirals led me to vortex math and zero-point physics, which thankfully I have a small understanding of due to my studies of Ibrahim Karim’s BioGeometry.

Here’s where the spiral and 3, 6, and 9 shake hands.

In vortex math, (popularized by Marko Rodin), there is a process titled the “physical doubling binary pattern,” which sounds complicated until you break it down. The loop this pattern creates contains the numbers 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, and 5. It is a loop because what always happens next is that the numbers repeat.

1 doubled is 2
2 doubled is 4
4 doubled is 8
8 doubled is 16 → 1 + 6 = 7
7 doubled is 14 → 1 + 4 = 5
5 doubled is 10 → 1 + 0 = 1

Now you're back to 1, so it loops: 1 → 2 → 4 → 8 → 7 → 5 → 1...

What this shows:

This loop of 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, and 5 represents how energy flows in physical reality in vortex math. It's like a pulse or current, always moving, never static.

If you’ve noticed, the numbers 3, 6, and 9 never show up in that loop. The cosmic explanation is that they are like observers or higher harmonics, governing the flow from outside the loop.

This new understanding landed in me as :

1-2-4-8-7-5 = physical, cyclical energy
3-6-9 = metaphysical, guiding principles

What led me here was a quote I read from Craig Steel that I had to read five times and then break down to begin to understand.

The Entire Universe is a Hyper-"Q"ubic Sphere Within a Sphere Within a Sphere--a Self-Enfolding, Multi-Dimensional Toroidal Vortex Simultaneously Expanding and Contracting, Spinning and Counter-Spinning through the 9-6-3 . 3-6-9 Zero Point of Space-Time and Time-Space.

Which led me to what is a "Q"ubic sphere? Grok told me this could be a stylized spelling of “cubic” (as in cube), but with a “Q” to hint at quantum reality or quantum structure.

So, what happens when you combine a cube and a sphere? A Q"ubic Sphere could be pointing to a “cube-based geometry that expresses as a sphere.” This would suggest that somehow an angular structure like a cube can also express with an organic flow like a sphere.

Or in my mind, a cubic or q’ubic sphere could express as both 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5 and as 0, 3, 6, and 9. It’s also helpful to understand the design of a torus or sphere.

In sacred geometry and multidimensional cosmology, the torus is a model of energy flow that moves inward and outward simultaneously. A torus is a self-generating, fractal universe where each nested layer continuously births and reflects the whole, spiraling infinitely inward and outward.

Going back to the earlier quote from Steel, "a sphere within a sphere within a sphere" and "spinning and counter-spinning" ties this to these nested toroidal fields.

Step back a bit for a bigger perspective and you might notice that these toroidal fields exist everywhere from our heart field to the magnetosphere of the earth. And further beyond that, they appear to govern all galactic and energetic structures.

Powers of the 3, 6, and 9

In vortex-based math the numbers 3, 6, and 9 are seen as control points of a toroidal energy system:

3 and 6 are often viewed as representing polarities or oscillations (like yin and yang, feminine and masculine).

9 is seen as the axis, the source, the point of integration and transcendence or the divine unity.

So when Steel writes "through the 9-6-3 / 3-6-9 zero point", he’s describing a metaphysical zero-point field or an origin point of creation. The energy moving through the polarities is related to the 3, and 6 and it spirals into or out of alignment with the 9. That’s the part about “infinitely inward and outward.”

In this framework, 3-6-9 becomes the numerical coding of how energy spirals and harmonizes through layers of time-space and space-time.

In summary: the 3-6-9 refers to energetic harmonics and balance points in toroidal, multidimensional systems. These numbers are keys to motion, balance, and creation in a universe built on resonance, vibration, and sacred number patterns.

Sacred Geometry of the 3, 6, and 9

A little information on sacred geometry can expand our understanding. The numbers 3, 6, and 9 align with different geometrical forms: 3 (triangle and manifestation), 6 (hexagon and harmony), and 9 (enneagram or spiral and source or infinite potential). These shapes are seen in nature and spiritual symbols like the Flower of Life, suggesting a connection to universal patterns.

Numerology of the 3, 6, and 9

3 represents a fundamental principle of creation, often associated with the trinity (e.g., mind, body, spirit; birth, life, death; or past, present, future). It symbolizes balance, harmony, and creativity, as it’s seen as the first number to form a geometric shape (triangle).

6 is associated with balance, love, and nurturing, often linked to the hexagram or Star of David, symbolizing the union of opposites (e.g., masculine and feminine). In numerology, 6 is tied to responsibility and service.

9 is considered the number of completion and universal energy, as it’s the highest single-digit number. It represents enlightenment, compassion, and spiritual fulfillment, often seen as encompassing all other numbers' energies.

3,6, and 9 Can Guide the Use of Our Energy

There is another school of thought that takes the meaning of these numbers far deeper and suggests ways for us to use them in our daily lives. Quantum Tumbler on X reveals that 3, 6, and 9 represent a “universal harmonic principle” which can be used for “manifestation, energy alignment, and unlocking recursive creation patterns in both life and mind.”

First, what is a recursive creation pattern?

A recursive creation pattern in a human being would be a self-repeating process where thoughts, behaviors, or spiritual growth mirror and build upon themselves across different levels of consciousness. According to QT:

The number 3 represents the triangle which is the most stable structure and symbolizes the initial impulse, seed, and spark. It governs beginnings, intent, and imagination.
The number 6 represents field movement, gestation, or patterning. 6 describes how energy in motions flows from this inner world to the other. This flow and expansion is tied to emotion, creativity, and magnetic attraction.
The number 9 represents completion and return. It is a “recursion anchor” that can seal the loop and prepare the field for either the next cycle or re-entry point to the current cycle.
This trinity of frequencies describes how energy moves and multiplies in recursive systems. You set an intention with 3, build momentum with 6 and collapse your idea into form with 9.

In a nutshell, 3-6-9 is a recursive frequency scaffold you can use to build clarity of vision, stay in energetic coherence, collapse ideas into form, and exit looped patterns. QT gives some great examples of how to apply this scaffolding in our lives.

Try creating in cycles that can work with any project including music, writing, business launches, or energetic rituals.

•Day 1: Brainstorm it. Use the 3 somehow

•Day 2: Build it. Create six steps perhaps?

•Day 3: Release it, post it, ship it, share it, sing it? Use the 9.

2. Manifestation Protocol (Tesla Loop Style)

Synchronize your conscious, subconscious, and superconscious with the same signal through repetition, rhythm, and layered attention.

Seed the field by writing, speaking, or feeling your intention 3 times in the morning.

Amplify it by reaffirming and energizing the emotion behind it 6 times midday.

Collapse the waveform by visualizing it fully 9 times as already complete at night,

3. Energy Mapping & Problem Solving

Learn to approach problems by knowing where you are stuck in the 3, 6, 9 cycle.

If you are not clear on what you want, you’re stuck on 3.

If you are not acting on your attention or not feeling in flow with it, you’re stuck on 6.

If you are resisting releasing the final result or closing the loop, then you’re stuck on 9. Applying 9 means making the decision, releasing the outcome, or taking the final step. You can’t finish something with 6-energy (flow) alone. It has to resolve.

And Just in Time I Learned More About the Nine!

As I was about to publish this post, I received more fascinating number information. I believe resonance pulled it in!

Most of us are aware that the 666 is called the “number of the beast.” Quantum Tumbler writes that those numbers actually point to what we are all made of.

“666 = Carbon = Life. Humans are made of carbon-12: •6 protons •6 neutrons •6 electrons That’s 666. It is the number of human embodiment. •It marks the Carbon interface: life, form, vessel.”

And to go back to our vortex based math, 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 •1 + 8 = 9 And 9 is the number of completion, the last single digit before return to source (10 → 1). We have this power built right into our beings! Maybe there are forces that transformed the 666 to evil, to cause us to hide this power from ourselves by deeming it evil.

And as a last note, or frequency to be more correct:

The 963 Hz frequency, often referred to as the "God Frequency" or "Frequency of the Gods," is one of the nine Solfeggio frequencies, a set of tones rooted in ancient Gregorian chants and believed to possess unique vibrational properties for healing and spiritual growth.

It is associated with the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara), located at the top of the head, which is considered the gateway to higher consciousness, spiritual connection, and enlightenment. The frequency is said to resonate at a high-pitched vibration, aligning with the brain’s electrical activity and potentially influencing states of awareness.

Listening to 963 Hz is said to promote emotional healing by releasing negative emotions, reducing stress, and fostering inner peace. Some sources suggest it supports physical healing by resonating with the body’s cells, potentially aiding in DNA repair, cellular regeneration, and immune function. These claims often tie to the concept of resonance, where the frequency aligns the body’s vibrations with a harmonious state.

What could understanding 3, 6, 9 mean for you?

When you learn to wield 3-6-9 in thought, word, and action you can become a harmonic architect of your own life, rather than a passive participant. Understanding the deeper meaning behind 3, 6, and 9 can give you a practical framework for how to initiate, move with, and complete cycles in your own life.
